I have been directed to invite your attention to this department's letter No. 8/1/2003-5FB1/921 Dated 09-05-2017 on the subject noted above.
2. As per decision at Sr. No. (iv) of the above letter, it was required, that 'pr rationalization may be carried out. This rationalization means that in case any employee/official is posted at a particular post (say 'x') and is drawing salary against that post, but is actually working at some other post/place/office (say 'y'), he/she shall be sent back to work at the same post/place/office where he/she is posted [i.e.'x'].
3. However, in case the department feels that an employee/officer is required at 'Y' then they may get a post created by following the extant guidelines and procedures, while surrendering the equivalent post at 'X'.
4 Action in this respect is to be taken by Administrative Department/HoD/Head of Office or the authority competent to do posting of the employee/official. /

5. dated The Department of Finance vide letter No. 8/01/2003-5FB1/1187 Dated 13-06-2017 has already extended the time period for compliance of above instructions and now salary for July, 2017 will be paid against the actual posting of the employee and on the basis of certificate to be given by the concerned DDO to the Treasury in this regard.
