Pension and other retirement benefits to employees who have retired on or after 01.01.2016

Kindly refer to the Letter No.3/1/2021-3FPPC/281-285 dated 29.10.2021 on the subject cited above.

2. In the said letter, the Para 7(b) be read as under:-

Rule 6.17- A(1) (in case of death in harness)

If the pay does not exceed thirty--- @60% of the pay thousand rupees.

If the pay exceed thirty thousand rupees--- @50% of the pay, subject to minimum of Eighteen thousand Rupees

3. The rest terms and conditions will remain unchanged.

4. The above rectification will take 'effect from the date of applicability of the letter under reference.
