Policy to streamline the cases for grant of 2% reservation for "Wards of Police Personnel" in Direct Recruitment in Punjab Police
The State Government vide memo No.1(211)94-2H(1)/10176 dated 11.06.1996 had accorded sanction to reserve 2% posts for the wards of deserving policeman.
The "wards"proposed to be covered would be dependent son or dependent daughter or dependent brother or dependent sister or any other dependent family member.
It has been decided that the benefit for the recruitment under policy dated 11.06.1996 ibid is only to be granted to one ward of the deserving Police Personnel.
