NOTIFICATION

The 17th December, 2025

No. G.S.R. 196/Const./Art.309/Amd.(5)/2025. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules, further to amend the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection) Group 'B' Service Rules, 2018, namely: -

RULES

1(1)These rules may be called the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection) Group 'B' Service (Second Amendment) Rules, 2025.

(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Punjab Educational Service (School and Inspection) Group B Service Rules, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 2,-

(i) in clause (d), at the end, the word 'and' shall be omitted; and

(ii) in clause (e), at the end, for the sign".", the sign and word "; and" shall be substituted and thereafter, the following clause shall be added, namely:-

"(1) 'teacher' means Elementary Trained Teacher, Special Educator Teacher (Primary), Head Teacher. Centre Head Teacher, Art and Craft Teacher, Master/Mistress, Block Primary Education Officer, Vocational........................................."
